Michael Kassis, PT, MPT/Owner

Michael's educational journey started at Shasta High School, class of '87, in Redding, California. He then enrolled at U.C Davis where he played football for the Aggies and received his undergraduate B.S. in Exercise Science '92. From there he attended Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California where he received his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy '95. New grad life had him working for Davis Orthopedic & Sport Physical Therapy as well as Kaiser Vallejo.  Next stop, Solano Sports Physical Therapy in Vacaville and 23 years later, it appears to be his last. 

He enjoys treating all orthopedic injuries and surgeries. Total knees, hips (Michael has had both of his hips replaced), shoulders, ankles and elbows. 

Michael has a passion for sports and sports injuries. He has been closely involved with modern approaches to rehabilitation for all ages and all injuries. He treats all ages of athletes and over the years has cared for the local high school athlete, the weekend tough mudder and professional athletes. 

He has specialization in industrial, work related injuries and has over 15 years of industrial consulting in safety and ergonomics. 

Michael and his wife Lisa have 6 children, Jacob, Jesse, Alexa, Carly, Kristen and Joey. One grandchild Lena, one horse Pepper, multiple chickens, 2 cats Cheeto and Pismo and one amazing Engish Cream Retreiver named Blake. 

Hobbies include bass fishing, bbq cookoffs, everything Philadelphia Phillies and Dallas Cowboys and volunteering with Vacaville High School's football team.  He has been an assistant coach for 18 years serving as linebackers coach and co-defensive coordinator. 

He is also a proud member of the Cornhole for Cole foundation which provides numerous scholarships for Vacaville and Will C. Wood seniors.

Monica Gallegos, PT, DPT

Monica is a Solano County native. She recently graduated from Samuel Merritt University where she received the Peter Edgelow Award for outstanding clinical performance. Her current philosophy of physical therapy practice is to utilize movement and evidence-based education to provide compassionate care that will help maximize personal vitality and optimize health. Monica also has a special interest in women’s health and has pursued continuing education courses in Pelvic Floor Dysfunction through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. In her free time Monica enjoys the outdoors, exploring new restaurants, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Ashley Juhnke, PT, DPT

Ashley earned her B.S. from UC Davis in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior in 2011. She went on to graduate with highest honors from West Coast University receiving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Most of her experience is in orthopedics. When she is not at work she likes spending time with her husband and training their German Shepherd.

Kyla Cruz PT, DPT, CSCS

Kyla began her educational journey at University of Nevada Las Vegas where she earned a B.S degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Sports Injury Management in 2011. While working towards her degree, she also worked for The Knee and Shoulder Institute and Matt Smith Physical Therapy as a rehab technician. She then attended PIMA Medical Institute where she earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2014 and continued in the field as a license professional. In 2017, Kyla decided to return to school at the University of Findlay where she earned her Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy. While at Findlay, Kyla was class president of her cohort, inducted into the National Collegiate Honor Society, and graduated first in her class. She also received "The Emerging Leader" award from the program faculty and was nominated for the "Class MVP" award by her peers. Kyla has a myriad of clinical experience in a variety of practice settings with the most time spent working in orthopedic outpatient care, however, she has also worked in wound care, transitional care, LTAC, SNF, rehab centers, vestibular rehab, and acute care. 

Kyla has been involved in athletics her entire life and has now dedicated her life to helping others return to doing what they love. When she is not helping patients, she is usually enjoying the great outdoors and water sports with her husband, Adrian, and their two Labrador Retrievers, Daisy and Duke.
